What to do nearby

Located within a pine forest, Camping dei Tigli is at the heart of a territory rich in enchanting landscapes embellished by historical, cultural and gastronomic traditions that have become famous all over the world.
It is also an excellent starting point for sightseeing within all the main Tuscan art cities: Pisa, Florence, Siena, Lucca, San Gimignano and Volterra.

From here, you can also embark on day trips to the islands of Elba, Giglio, Montecristo and Gorgona, or even head north, towards the famous Cinque Terre in Liguria.

The entire province of Lucca is bordered by highly popular areas for swimming. The most popular is Viareggio (famous for its Carnival), Forte dei Marmi and Torre del Lago with its Puccini Festival, right through to Vittoria Apuana.

The upper part includes the lesser-known municipalities of Stazzema and Serravezza, in which to admire the beautiful Apuan Alps and the naturalistic wonder of Monte Perfato.

The Riviera della Versilia beach has long been renowned throughout Europe, due to its expansive spaces covered with fine sand and extensive areas for relaxing walks along the coast.

Both racing and mountain bikes are very popular throughout the area.
